By creating an account, downloading, or using SquadAbroad (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SquadAbroad is a trip planning app that lets you and your travel group create itineraries, share trip details, and discover destinations, restaurants, and activities.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the trips, itinerary events, photos, and other content you create ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant SquadAbroad a license to host, store, and display it as needed to operate the Service, including sharing it with members of trips you join. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must have the right to share it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that is harassing, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Trip Groups and Invites

Trips may be shared with other users via invites. Once you join a trip, the trip details, events, and your profile name are visible to other members of that trip. You are responsible for only sharing invites with people you trust.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Firebase (Google Cloud), Google Maps and Places API, LogRocket, and Unsplash, to operate certain features. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SquadAbroad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
